Chhaava OTT partner: Where to watch Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's film after its theatrical run

Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is all set to be released theatres tomorrow (February 14). Directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical epic has been one of the most anticipated theatrical releases of the year. It's based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. A day before the release, we've come to know where Chhaava will premiere on OTT after its theatrical run ends.

Chhaava OTT partner revealed!

Chhaava, produced by Maddock Films, will premiere on Netflix after its theatrical run ends. Generally, it takes 45 to 60 days for a movie to have an OTT premiere. That said, the makers are yet to announce the official OTT release date of Chhaava.

This historical epic features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai. As for Akshaye Khanna, he essays the character of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The star cast also includes Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana and several others.

Rashmika Mandanna on challenges of portraying Yesubai in Chhaava

In an interview with ANI, Rashmika spoke about the challenges she faced while playing Maharani Yesubai in Chhaava.

The actress said, "In all my previous films, I created my character, but here, I wasn’t creating—Yesubai already existed. There is nothing of Rashmika in her. We have read about them, but we have never seen them. How did the Maharani walk, talk, or express emotions? These were things I had to figure out."

"Laxman sir guided me through everything. I completely surrendered to him," she added. Rashmika also revealed that the costume and jewelry was designed for her to just step in and become Yesubai.
