Shriya Pilgaonkar leads a criminal investigation in Chhal Kapat: The Deception. You are instantly reminded of another hit show coming from the makers itself. Of course, we’re talking of Gyaarah Gyaarah, which is the Hindi remake of the K-Drama, Signal. While the series dealt with the connection between the past and the present, Chhal Kapat: The Deception has only hints that the nine suspects could be connected to the past.

The connection with number 9

Zee5 had Raghav Juyal-Kritika Kamra's show Gyaarah Gyaarah, which, like the name suggests, had a lot to do with number 11 (the time had to be 11:11 for the messages to be delivered from the past into the present). This time around, there seems to be a mystery around number 9. What could this mystery be? The makers only leave you with hints. The Broken News actress Shriya Pilgaonkar had recently suffered a loss since her series Guilty Minds season 2 got scrapped. The web series was in pre-production and despite the original series being a hit, Prime Video decided to scrap the new season citing budget cuts. During such a time, Chhal Kapat's release could prove crucial to her career boost. The release date for this series is not yet out.
