Chhatriwali trailer: Sumeet Vyas takes the cake in Rakul Preet Singh starrer

The trailer of Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali is out. This promo sees her preach about safe sex. However, it isn’t Rakul but Sumeet Vyas who takes the cake this time.

In the role of her husband, Sumeet has some dialogues which will make you rofl. Some of the dialogues include, “Raincoat pehen ke baarish mein bheegne ka kya maza” and “Khush toh aaj bahut hogi tum. 20-20 khelne wala aadmi, test match khel gaya.”

Rajesh Tailang plays a teacher who refuses to get his kids educated on safe sex compulsorily. He feels that since the subject is optional and the age is very sensitive, thus the boys and girls of that age should not get educated on sex and stay miles away from the topic.

Rakul’s character, however, is of a completely different opinion. She doesn’t only get people in school educated but even those in her area, get to know about safe sex and how important the subject in itself is.

Satish Kaushik also plays an important character in the film. His sense of humour in the movie is still on-point.

Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Chhatriwala is a Zee5 original film. The movie will release directly on the OTT platform.

Chhatriwala is slated to release on January 20, 2023. The film is the first time that Rakul and Sumeet collaborate for a project. The project is backed by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies.
