Chhorii actress Nushrratt Bharuccha to appear in two more female-led projects

Nushrratt Bharuccha has been receiving rave reviews after her recent horror film Chhorri. Her versatility and performance as a pregnant woman received much applause. The story themed on female foeticide has also been discussed much all over the internet.

Going forward, it is reported that she will be taking part in two more female-led movies. Talking to Hindustan Times, she said that she is gearing up for Janhit Mein Jaari, which is a female-centric comedy drama with a strong social message. She will also be a part of Ram Setu, for which she is really proud of. Post that the actress said she will be appearing in another female-led movie as well.

The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actress is currently basking in the glory of Chhorii’s success. She said she is happy that she could create an impact among the people. She has been receiving overwhelming appreciations for the movie from all over, which makes her feel more proud. 

Nushratt had also been a solo protagonist in Ajeeb Daastaans that released earlier this year. Summing out from all these, she thinks the industry has changed its perception of her as an artiste. She finally feels the industry had put a whole lot of faith in her, by casting her for some amazing and brave roles. 

“Today, makers are thinking about out-of-box casting,” she says. They are conducting many workshops and classes and thereby, investing more time in an actor, so that they can blend in with the story.

The actress, who has been playing roles in comedy films, found it tough and scary initially when switching the genre. Yet, she could stand on her feet soon, steadily and proudly weaving huge success out of it.
