In the last week of November and the beginning of December, several Kannada dubbed titles became available on OTT. Chikku, which is the Kannada version of Chithha, was reported to drop weeks ago, but made it only a couple of days ago on to a streamer, while Dhoomam comes a good 5 months after its theatrical release.

Chikku

Actor Siddharth’s Chithha’s Kannada version, Chikku, is about the lengths to which one man goes to protect and avenge his niece. Produced by the actor, the film is about child sexual abuse, a subject that critics say, has been handled with utmost sensitivity, making Chithha/Chikku a must watch. The film also stars Nimisha Sajayan in pivotal role. Siddharth has dubbed for his role in the Kannada version as well.
