The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Chinna Chinna Aasai, released its first poster, revealing the romantic drama's lead actors. Indrans and Madhoo will headline this movie, which is expected to hit the big screen soon.
Renowned Tamil director Mani Ratnam released the film's first poster through his social media page. The filmmaker had given Madhoo her biggest hit, Roja, in 1992. There is also a popular song titled 'Chinna Chinna Aasai' that gives an introduction to Madhoo's character in Roja. From the poster, it is clear that Indrans-starrer Chinna Chinna Aasai is going to be a poignant take about falling in love later in life. Recently, another Malayalam film, Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarunnu.
The film is directed by Varsha Vasudev, who is known for her short film, Ente Narayanikku. Chinna Chinna Aasai, which is majorly shot in Varanasi, is bankrolled by Babuji Productions. Govind Vasantha has composed music and background score for this movie. Fayas Siddique is the cinematographer, while Rakeson Joseph has hemled the edit works. Further details on the cast as well as release date is expected in the coming days.
Madhoo, who is predominantly doing films in Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu, returned to Malayalam after a hiatus with the web series, Manorathangal. She starred along with Asif Ali in a segment titled 'Vilpana' in the anthology series. Her last Malayalam film was Samsaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram, which had Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya in lead roles. Her latest film was Ravi Teja's Eagle, which is accessible on Aha as well as Sun NXT via OTTplay Premium.
Indrans played a prominent role in Rekhachithram, which is now streaming on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium. Some of his recent films include 2018: Everyone Is A Hero, Kanakarajyam and Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham. His upcoming film is Ranjith Sajeev-starrer United Kingdom of Kerala, which will have a theatrical release on May 23.
