Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu locks OTT platform: Where to stream Chiranjeevi's comedy caper online

Post the debacle of Bholaa Shankar under the direction of Meher Ramesh, Chiranjeevi has signed multiple films, one of which is a comedy caper with star director Anil Ravipudi. Titled Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, the film has already wrapped up three schedules and is all set to hit the screens on January 12, 2026, as a Sankranthi special.

Well, we have now learned exclusively that Zee 5 has bagged the digital rights for a record price, the highest ever for a Chiranjeevi film. The film will be available for streaming after its theatrical run.

This deal was also made possible by taking into account Anil Ravipudi's sensational track record. He hasn’t delivered a single flop, and all his films are clean entertainers that garner massive viewership on OTT. That is one of the key reasons Zee5 went all out for the OTT rights.

On the other hand, another film of Chiranjeevi’s, Vishwambhara, is stuck due to the lack of an OTT deal. As the makers are quoting a bomb for the Vassishta directorial, not many platforms are showing interest. The makers are trying hard to make things work, but not many platforms are showing interest.

Sahu Garapati is producing the film alongside Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela. They are investing heavily in the film, and a massive portion of the budget has gone towards the hefty remuneration of Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara. Chiranjeevi himself has been paid a whopping Rs 72 crore as his fee for this family drama.

The latest buzz is that Chiranjeevi will be seen as a school teacher in this film, which explores ego issues between a husband and wife. Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the music, and this project is a massive opportunity for him to shine, especially since it’s a Chiranjeevi starrer.
