Chiranjeevi impressed by the trailer of Tadap, wishes Ahan Shetty and team for the film

Our own Telugu film RX100, a surprise hit at the box office, is getting a massy, stylish makeover in Hindi cinema with Tadap. The film has been in the making for a year and a half and marks the acting debut of Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty, while Tara Sutaria is cast as the leading lady. Tadap is helmed by Milan Luthria, a name second to none with masala entertainers in Bollywood and has dialogues by Rajat Arora. The film's theatrical trailer was launched today. In a surprise gesture, Telugu actor Chiranjeevi tweeted the trailer on his social handle, wishing the team of Tadap.

The star posted, "RAW & INTENSE! #SajidNadiadwala’s #TadapTrailer looks impressive! Love & good wishes to #AhanShetty & the team! #Tadap #FoxStarStudios @TaraSutaria @MilanLuthria @rajatsaroraa @ipritamofficial @NGEMovies @foxstarhindi @WardaNadiadwala @TSeries." A humbled Suniel Shetty, responded to tweet by adding, "Chiranjeevi garu, Grateful & humbled at your beautiful introduction to Ahan & your lovely wishes for his #Tadap. Deeply touched at your warm welcome to him into your magical world of movies.Thank you "

Surprisingly, many netizens while replying to the tweet had reminded Chiranjeevi that Tadap was a remake of a Telugu film (RX100). RX100, for the uninitiated, came with very little hype or hoopla and made its lead actors Kartikeya Gummakonda, Payal Rajput, composer Chaitan Bharadwaj and director Ajay Bhupathi, overnight stars. The film gave a unique twist to romance and deceit, packaged with a lot of delicate twists and turns and was a rare story where the female protagonist had a meaty role with several shades of grey.

Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan were among other stars who also shared the trailer and wished a good start to the career of Ahan Shetty. Tadap is presented and co-produced by Fox Star Studios. Sajid Nadiadwala has bankrolled the film under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Production. The film has music by Pritam while Irshad Kamil is the lyricist. Tadap will hit screens worldwide on December 3.
