Chiranjeevi signs a new film with director Venky Kudumula, to be bankrolled by RRR producer DVV Danayya

Chiranjeevi is on a roll and it looks like nothing can stop this juggernaut even at 67. The star, who is simultaneously shooting for four films this month, has embarked on another new project with Chalo, Bheeshma director Venky Kudumula, that'll be bankrolled by RRR producer DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainments. While there were rumours doing the rounds about this project for long, it's interesting that the announcement has been timed a few days ahead of RRR's release on January 7.

"Extremely delighted to announce a film with Megastar @KChiruTweets garu under the direction of Successful Director @VenkyKudumula. It's a dream come true for us. Co Produced by Dr. Madhavi Raju. Rolling soon… #MegaStarWithMegaFan," the post from DVV Entertainment's social media handle read, accompanied by a brief video. The video has multiple references to Chiranjeevi from the director's earlier films - Chalo and Bheeshma besides several moments from Chiranjeevi's iconic hits like Mutha Mestri, Indra, Tagore and also from his upcoming film Acharya. 

The video also has portion where Chiranjeevi was part of Chalo's promotional event and had said, "I am proud that my fan is a director today." The makers had created curiosity earlier in the day with the hash tag '#MegaStarWithMegaFan' and ended the suspense with this grand announcement. The film's shoot is expected to commence shortly, while the details about the cast and crew will be revealed soon.

Chiranjeevi's next release Acharya is slated to hit theatres on February 4,2022. His other lineup of films inlcude the Lucifer remake titled Godfather, Vedalam remake Bholaa Shankar and an untitled project with Bobby a.k.a KS Ravindra.
