It is a known fact that the government of India announced the prestigious Padma Vibhushan a few months ago. This announcement made fans happy, and everyone felt that Chiranjeevi received the recognition at a proper time in his life. Well, the time has come for the megastar to finally receive the award.
The latest update reveals that Chiranjeevi will receive his award on May 9, 2024, at a special function at the Rastrapathi Bhavan in Delhi. The government of India is making special arrangements for the event. Along with Chiranjeevi, several others will be receiving the Padamsri and various other awards in Delhi.

The news also says that Chiranjeevi's star son, Ram Charan, will be attending the event to support his father. Chiranjeevi has been in the industry for over three decades now and has worked with some of the biggest talents in the industry. He has also served the country through his political party, Prajarajyam.
Chiranjeevi has served as an MLA from Tirupathi and helped the poor a lot. After being in politics for 10 long years, Chiranjeevi got back to films and has been actively acting since then. His charitable work through his blood bank has saved many lives in Telugu states.
Seeing all this, the Union government of India has announced the Padma Vibhushan to Chiranjeevi. As of now, Chiranjeevi is busy with his latest film, Vishwambhara. The fantasy drama is being directed by Vassistha on a massive scale.
Trisha Krishnan is playing the female lead and MM Keeravani is composing the music. Chiranjeevi will play his age in this film, which is being made on a budget of over Rs 100 crore. Watch this space for more updates.
