Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara - Shoot update, backdrop and budget, here's what we know - Exclusive

Vishwambhara is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema as it stars Chiranjeevi and Trisha in lead roles. Vassishtha, who directed the super hit film Bimbisara with Chiranjeevi is directing this fantasy drama that is being made on a massive scale.

Well, the latest update is that the shooting of this film is happening at a brisk pace without any breaks in Hyderabad. At least 40% of the shoot has been wrapped up in no time. Chiranjeevi joined the sets late due to his knee injury but is not taking any break in the shoot of this biggie.

We have come to know that a thrilling sequence unfolded against the picturesque setting of the Maredumilli forest a few days ago, with subsequent shots captured in Bhimavaram. Noteworthy is the dynamic involvement of Chiranjeevi in the recent shoot, injecting his signature energy and charm into each frame.

We have also come to know that a massive is being built at Ramoji Film City for a special action sequence. Some key scenes of intense confrontation between Chiranjeevi and the antagonists will be canned during this schedule in the days to come.

In Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi is also paired with the seasoned beauty Mrinal Thakur who is yet to join the sets of the film. Backed by the musical genius Keeravani and featuring costume designs by Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela, the film is poised to captivate audiences with its stunning visuals and immersive auditory experience.

Vishwambhara budget details

Vassishtha is just one film old but how he directed Bimbisara shocked one and all. Now, he has a massive responsibility to direct a megastar, and that too in a fantasy drama. The word is that Chiranjeevi will be seen playing a mature character in this film. Vishwambhara is being made on a budget of Rs 200 crore, which is one of the highest budgets in his career.

The film is all set for a January 10, 2025 release and Chiranjeevi's last film, Bholaa Shankar was a massive flop, the fans have pinned all their hopes on this biggie. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
