Chitrangda Singh shines in the Gaslight trailer, speaks about working with director Pavan Kirpalani

The much awaited trailer of 'Gaslight' is finally out. And ever since the time it has got release, it has started making news for all the right reasons. Thanks to the intriguing plot and intense performances by the film’s lead actors, it has already aroused the curiosity of many regarding the film’s storyline. Speaking about the film’s performances, the film stars Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey and Chitrangda Singh in the lead roles. And the person who is responsible for the film’s direction is Pavan Kirpalani.

Speaking about Pavan and her experience of working with him, Chitrangda Singh told OTT Play, “Pavan loves and enjoys working on thrillers. This is a very unusual plotline with distinct characters and circumstances which makes it very interesting. Personally what I loved about the film is the pace of the film, the way it reveals the information. The portrayal of complex human nature has been shown so well which makes ‘Gaslight’ so interesting. Pavan is the best kind of director, an actor can have. He makes you feel so comfortable with your insecurity. He is a director that gives all the freedom to work your way and that makes it very fun and easy.”

Chitrangda Singh, who made her film career debut with ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ has since been seen playing multiple striking roles in movies of all genres. Whether it’s the Akshay Kumar-John Abraham starrer comedy movie ‘Desi Boys’ or the critically acclaimed ‘Inkaar’, Chitrangda’s work has always been applauded by the cinema-lovers. On the other hand, the actress showed her versatility as an artist with her performance as Latika’ in the series ‘Modern Love Mumbai’ and also ‘Mary Biswas’ in ‘Bob Biswas’.

As for the film’s release, the film ‘Gaslight’ will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from 31st March 2023.
