It's official! After Dhruva Natchathiram and Thangalaan, Chiyaan Vikram is all set to be seen in Chiththa director SU Arun Kumar's next. The film is tentatively being referred to as Chiyaan 62.

Chiyaan 62 first glimpse
Vikram shared the first glimpse of his character from the film in a short promo video. “Thrilled to unveil the much-awaited announcement video of my upcoming film alongside the incredible talents of #SUArunKumar , @gvprakashmusical and @hr_pictures… Brace yourselves,” he wrote on his social media handle.

 Vikram is seen in a mass avatar in the glimpse and going by his dialogues it looks like plays a shopkeeper in the film. The film is set in Tiruttani in Tiruvalluvar district. In the video, we see a woman armed with her child, lodging a complaint at the local police station. Soon after, Vikram's character is chasing two men and barging inside a police station where he beats them black and blue. He is then seen leaving the station, getting annoyed after his footwear gets stripped.

After fixing the same, a policeman tries to stop him, but Vikram mumbles something in his ear and soon the man looks stunned. When another policeman asks him who he was, Vikram says that finally he gets a good question. Later, he is driving through a busy market taking supplies for his house as his entire family awaits.

The team of Chiyaan 62
Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar, who has made the tunes for Thangalaan.The film is bankrolled by Riya Shibu's HR Pictures, which earlier produced the Hindi remake of Maanagaram, Mumbaikar. The rest of the details are yet to be announced.

Thangalaan and Dhruva Natchathiram in the pipeline
Vikram, in the meantime, is awaiting the release of Gautham Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram (November 24) and Pa Ranjith's Thangalaan (January 26). While Dhruva Natchathiram is a long-delayed film, expectations are riding high on Thangalaan.
