The Chiyaan 63 announcement was made with a poster revelation, giving out the fact that Vikram film will be helmed by debutant Bodi Rajkumar. Interestingly, not much is known about this debutant filmmaker.
As per the buzz, Bodi Rajkumar has not assisted any filmmakers so far, and has only three short films to his credit. One of them includes Amen, which has won several awards, including Best Short Film at IFFC, 2021, Short Narratives at Bollywood Indies, 2021, and Best Indie Short at Venice Shorts, 2021. The short film was also selected for more international festivals.
With a short film making background, Bodu Rajkumar is set to make his feature film debut with Chiyaan 63 and all eyes are on the project, which has got some special shoutouts, including from actor Siddharth, who said, ‘a terrific filmmaker is arriving’.

The actor’s last film, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 1, which released earlier this year, had opened to good reviews but did not fare well at the box office.
