Choo Mantar title track: Chandan Shetty puts a fun 'party' twist to the usual eerie song

Sharan has proven himself as a bankable actor in the comedy-drama genre but with Choo Mantar, he is set to explore the horror genre for the first time in his career. Of course, this film, too, is laced with humour but the promotional material released so far suggests that he is trying out something new. He is joined by Aditi Prabhudeva, Meghana Gaonkar, Chikkanna and others as part of the cast and together, they seem quite keen on creating a riot.

Also part of the motley crew is Chandan Shetty who has been brought on board as the music composer. The popular rapper will be scoring the songs of Choo Mantar with Avinash S. Basutkar roped in for background score and the title track of the film, which was released earlier today (September 11), is every bit the Chandan Shetty number that we all look forward to. 

Sung by Chandan Shetty himself, the song is a catchy number that will potentially be used for promotional purposes. Sharan, Aditi Prabhudeva, Chikkanna and Prabhu Mundkar feature in the video version of the song. Vijay Eshwar has been credited as the lyricist.

Earlier today, the team of Choo Mantar convened to formally launch the song with Crazy Star V. Ravichandran gracing the event as the chief guest. At the event, Chandan Shetty shared that while the producer wanted a song of this kind as part of the film, the director (Karvva Navneeth), on the other hand, opposed that idea. "I had to convince them both and composed the song on the spot with the lyricist present," said Chandan Shetty, adding that he really liked the way the song and its visuals have turned out. 

Choo Mantar is centred around a huge mansion named 'Morgan House' which is trespassed by four friends out seeking a treasure. However, things turn on their heads when they learn that something's not normal with the house and that there's a lot more than meets the eye.
