Choona trailer: Jimmy Shergill leads Netflix's action-packed heist comedy with an astrological twist

Netflix's Choona trailer showcased an exciting heist drama with stunning visuals and hilarious jabs. Pushpendra Nath Misra wrote and directed this satire. Choona, a Flying Saucer-produced epic heist comedy-drama, will debut on Netflix.

An astrologer, a highly skilled, shape-shifting informer, a gully ka gunda, a demoted police officer, a once successful contractor, and a resourceful mediator, Bishnu, plan a heist to defeat their common enemy, Shukla. They'll steal 600 crore from the lion's den! Shukla's party office has armed guards, over 100 fit staff, and CCTV cameras everywhere. With so much at stake, this unprecedented theft will require more than brains and brawn. Can they lagao Choona to Shukla?

Showrunner, Director, and Writer Pushpendra Nath Misra said in a statement that Choona is grand and unique—a world that is quintessentially Indian because of elements like astrology and jugaad. It has action, drama, romance, thrills, and humour to totally delight the audience. Choona promotes people's power, and Netflix's content-focused practises make working with them rewarding. They know how to tell a global story with hyperlocal flair. Netflix supported Choona, a work of love with over 100 days of shooting and gobs of VFX. The cast is great, and the actors complemented each other and worked hard to fit the universe and the series is a binge-worthy eight-course dinner.
