Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga | Yami Gautam: Admire air hostesses for their courage and showing up to work every day with an infectious smile

When the role of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga came her way, Yami Gautam was just as excited to play a flight attendant as she was about the movie's action-packed plot. To prepare for the role, the actor spent a lot of time with a flight attendant, who helped her understand the problems that cabin crew members face every day.

Yami told Mid Day that she admires air hostesses because they are brave and always come to work with a smile, even though they know that accidents can happen. Becoming Neha Grover required a lot of mental and physical preparation. The actor stars in the Netflix thriller with Sunny Kaushal.

The film, directed by Ajay Singh, centers on a couple whose lives are completely turned upside down after their airplane is hijacked. Since the story is about a lot of stress, Gautam agrees that making the movie was hard.

While recalling her most trying moment, she added that she had to go to the heart of her character, whose responsibility it is to make sure that every passenger is safe, especially under trying circumstances, during an evacuation sequence. It was a really delicate situation. In addition, it was minus three degrees when they shot it in Himachal Pradesh. Yami thus experienced both bodily and emotional numbness, as well as jitteriness.
