Dhanush's recent release Thiruchitrambalam, which opened to heartwarming reviews, has set the cash registers ringing. The film has won appreciation from critics and audience alike and one of the songs in the film, Megham Karukatha has emerged as a chartbuster, too. Even after a month after the film's release, a number of netizens have recreated the steps performed by the actors in the song and have released their own version of Megham Karukatha. 

Now dance choreographer Jani has shared the making video of the song. The BTS video shows how Jani made Dhanush and Nithya sway to the tunes of the song. The choreographer also stated that he loved working with Dhanush, Nithya Menen and Raashi Khanna for the song. Taking to his social media handle, Jani wrote, "Immensely cherished choreographing @dhanushkraja Sir #RaashiKhanna ma'am & @MenenNithya garu for #MeghamKarukatha Thank you for the phenomenal response to the song & #Thiruchitrambalam. Here's how it went behind the screens (sic). Music for the film was by Anirudh and yet another song Thaai Kelavi, too has gone on to become chartbusters in the film. Anirudh had teamed up with Dhanush after seven long years.

Thiruchitrambalam, directed by Mithran Jawahar, is a story that revolves around two friends who stand up for each other. The star cast includes Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prakash Raj, Bharathiraja, to name a few. The plot also delves into the relationships in Thiruchitrambalam's (Dhanush) family and how they solve their misunderstandings along with the friendship between Pazham and Shobana (Nithya). 

Cinematography is by Om Prakash and editing is by Prasanna GK. The film was bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures. Thiruchitrambalam hit screens on August 18. The satellite rights have been bagged by Sun TV and the streaming rights have been bagged by Sun NXT.
