Choreographer Anee Master lands a key role in Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar

Anitha Lama, the popular Telugu film choreographer who’s known as Anee Master in film circles, made her presence felt with her stint in Bigg Boss Telugu recently. Her antics were a hit with Telugu audiences across the globe and it’s not surprising that she’s landing acting offers in films as well. It’s official that she’ll play a key role in Meher Ramesh’s Bholaa Shankar starring Chiranjeevi.

The team formally confirmed her presence with an image, where she was spotted with the film’s lead actors Chiranjeevi, Keerthy Suresh, Surekha Vani, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu and Getup Srinu today. Veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao arrived on the sets of Bholaa Shankar in Hyderabad for a glimpse of the shoot. Chiranjeevi is spotted in a blue kurta and black denims in this still.

A new schedule of Bholaa Shankar had commenced recently in the city where a song is being filmed on the lead cast. Anee is playing one of the key characters as part of the film’s Kolkata backdrop. She’s seen in a traditional Bengali look, sporting an off-white sari with a red border. Sekhar master is choreographing this energetic number composed by Mahati Swara Sagar.

K Raghavendra Rao blessed the team of Bholaa Shankar and predicted that the dance number would certainly recreate the impact of Ramma Chilakamma among the masses. The filmmaker believes that the Vedalam remake has the right mix of sentiment, entertainment and commercial ingredients to score big at the box office. Vedalam, starring Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon, released in 2016.

Anee Master worked as a choreographer in many popular films, from Shankar Dada MBBS to Jyothi Lakshmi to Rogue, Loafer and Sardar Gabbar Singh. She was also one of the judges in Dhee Jodi before making an appearance in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5.
