Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor graced the trailer premiere of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming fantasy horror film Thama. During the event, Shraddha Kapoor announced that Dinesh Vijan is all set to expand the Stree universe with an upcoming animated film titled Choti Stree. Maddock Films is currently gearing up for the upcoming compelling horror comedy film with Aditya Sarpotdar’s Thama. Slated for a Diwali release, Thama is among the most-awaited films of 2025.
Thama trailer launch is definitely filled with surprises, as fans not only got a glimpse of the upcoming horror comedy film but also witnessed an unexpected film announcement. Stree 2 star Shraddha Kapoor graced Thama’s trailer event in a red saree and a long choti (braid) that syncs perfectly with her Stree avatar. During the conversation, Shraddha Kapoor announced Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film, Choti Stree. Touted to be a horror comedy, Choti Stree is an animated film that is currently in the works. Shraddha said, “Maddock horror comedy universe is coming out with Choti Stree as an animated film. Jo hogi release theatres mein (it will release in the theatres).” Meanwhile, it will be exciting to see if Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will be a part of Choti Stree's voice cast.

She also revealed that Choti Stree is going to be quite exciting for India as the animated venture is a total entertainer for everyone, including kids and family. “Sabke liye, bachcho ke liye, family ke liye, dhamaal hi hone wala hai. It is amazing to be a part of this universe,” Shradda added.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thama unveiled the official trailer today ahead of its theatrical premiere on October 21. Packed with action, wacky humour, fantasy, and horror, Thama is set to take you on a crazy ride. The ensemble also features Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
