Mohanlal's film Chotta Mumbai was set to make a comeback to theatres on May 21. However, Thudarum's remarkable run in theatres has caused a delay in the re-release. The comedy action drama, which had a theatrical debut in 2007, will be back on big screen on June 6, it has officially been confirmed.
The producers have confirmed that the first show will start on June 6 at 10 a.m. At this time, there are currently no other Malayalam films have a release slated on the same day. It is logical to assume that the release of several films, including Narivetta and Detective Ujjwalan, may have also delayed the re-release of Chotta Mumbai in May.
Mohanlal is in the limelight right now because his latest movie, Thudarum, is doing so well at the box office. The film will begin streaming on Jio Hotstar from May 30. To the joy of Lalettan fans, it has been revealed that the Lucifer star's Udayananu Tharam would also be re-released on June 20.
Chotta Mumbai is available on Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium.
