The movie about the ‘father of the atomic bomb’ already includes Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and Matt Damon.

Christopher Nolan’s movies are always received with a lot of fan-fare ahead of its release. His upcoming movie titled Oppenheimer, has added Florence Pugh, Rami Maelek and Benny Safdie to its already impressive cast.
According to THR, the trio has been added to the cast of the movie and Pugh will play Jean Tatlock, a communist who has an affair with the scientist, leading to security concerns.
Malek and Safdie will play the role of scientist included in the Manhattan Project, with the latter playing Edward Teller, who is titled as “the father of the Hydrogern Bomb”.
Nolan’s eleventh movie, in an impressive list of films, is based on the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

The movie will follow the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is credited as “The father of the atomic bomb”and his role in the Manhattan project during the second World War.
Cilian Murphy, who is a frequent collaborator in the filmmakers movies, will play the lead role of the titular Oppenheimer. The movie already has an impressive set of cast that includes Emily Blunt as Katherine, the scientist wife and Matt Damon and Robert Downey Jr.
While Nolan’s movies are known to have a strong cast that supports his stories, the cast for Oppenheimer seems to be growing into one of the strongest in his career.
