Christy actor Mathew Thomas reveals if Vijay, Fahadh Faasil will share screen space in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo

From Narain in Kaithi to Fahadh Faasil and Chemban Vinod Jose in Vikram, director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s movies have had at least one Malayalam actor in a pivotal role. His current project Leo, which has Thalapathy Vijay in the lead, also has Mathew Thomas. In a recent interview, the actor talked about his latest movie Christy as well revealed about working experience during Leo, which is currently being shot in Kashmir.

Fahadh, in a press meet recently in Kochi, had all but confirmed that Leo is set in the so-called Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) and that he might have a role in the movie with Vijay.

When Mathew was asked about this by Behindwoods, the young actor said that he was unaware of the details and that if Fahadh is part of the movie, he would be glad to share screen space with the actor again after Kumbalangi Nights.

Mathew’s latest movie Christy also had him working with Malavika Mohanan, who was part of Lokesh and Vijay’s Master. The actor plays a teenager, whose aunt pushes him to take tuition classes with Malavika’s Christy, who is much older than him. The conversations they have and how their relationship progresses form the plot of the movie, which is helmed by debutant Henry Alvin and scripted by GR Indugopan and Benyamin.

When he was asked if Malavika had shared her experience working with the Master duo, Mathew said, “She told me that I won’t have to worry about anything as I was in good hands. It’s also my first Tamil film and it’s very comfortable being here. I am not too good with Tamil but they have kept me in a comfort zone where I don’t have to think about all that and have to just do my part.”

Mathew also shared that Vijay was aware that he had acted in Christy and even told him that he watched the teaser and it was good.
