Chucky TV series trailer is out: The horror icon leaves fans creeped out

As the trailer of the much-awaited Chucky TV series has been released online, fans are creeped out and thrilled to see the killer doll soon that has made its way to the small screen. The trailer shows that the town is likely to face chaos after a vintage “Good Guy” doll turns up at a suburban yard sale.

The American horror series Chucky created by Don Mancini is a continuation of the film Child’s Play. Now the director has decided to continue the series on television with his version. The series, which features Brad Dourif, Zackary Arthur, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Teo Briones in the cast, is produced by UCP and Mancini himself is its executive producer.

Many of the fans took to social media and dropped their opinions as soon as the trailer was released. A few of them also shared pictures from the trailer and expressed their excitement. Some went on to say that it was the best trailer of Chucky they have ever seen and were all praise for the makers. A fan shared an edited image of Chucky and captioned it “Chucky x ScarySight” with a black heart emoji. If the positive response for the trailer is anything to go by, fans have set their hopes and expectations high for the much-anticipated horror series.

The series is set to premiere in the month of October. If Chucky proves to be a success, it is likely that Mancini will be helming more seasons and fans can enjoy the pint-sized psychopath in more movies.
