Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0 song teaser out: Hungama 2 revisits the classic number

Akshay Kumar-Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s Chura Ke Dil Mera created a storm back when it was released in the 90s. Now the makers of Hungama 2 have given a modern-day spin to it with Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0. The expectations from the new song too, are very high.

The teaser was released earlier today. This time we see a young Meezan Jaffrey swooning over Shilpa. While the makers have retained the original tune, the thrusts are unexpected and not-as-appealing. However, we would know more once the complete song releases on July 6.

Hungama 2, is scheduled to premiere on Disney+Hotstar. Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0 will be the first song to release from the film.

Chura Ke Dil Mera enjoyed a great fan base almost instantly. From the locales to dance steps, everything about the song appealed to crowds. Akshay and Shilpa’s on-screen chemistry, in particular, was loved by the people. A stylish Shilpa flirting with suave looking Akshay Kumar was a sight to behold.

It is left to be seen if Meezan and Shilpa can recreate the same magic and spark with the remix. Hungama 2 also stars Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav in the lead roles. They played a pivotal role in the original (Hungama) that hit theatres in 2003.
