CID 2 is becoming more and more interesting with each episode, and the new promo shows inspectors Abhijeet and Daya arguing, leading to a possible fallout.

CID 2 fans have been on a rollercoaster ride ever since it began. Firstly, Shivaji Satam's sudden exit from the show as ACP Pradyuman broke hearts. Secondly, Parth Samthaan joined the cast as ACP Ayushmann, but the actor recently revealed that he will also leave the show as ACP Pradyuman is back in action. Now, a new promo of CID 2 shows a possible fallout between Abhijeet and Daya (Aditya Srivastava and Dayanand Shetty).
CID 2 new promo
Sony Entertainment Television shared a new promo of CID 2, where we can see Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, saying that they have a mole in the team. The scene shifts to Daya and Abhijeet, who are having an argument and saying that their friendship might be at stake. They even tried to kill each other. Not only Daya and Abhijeet, but the whole CID team seems to go against each other.

Sharing the promo, the streaming platform captioned it, "Kya mit kar, khatam hojayegi CID ki team? Dekhiye #CID Sat-Sun raat 10 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par aur Sony LIV par."

I am so engaged that I wish for a CID episode to air daily, rather than just on weekends."
Parth Samthaan confirms his departure from CID 2
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Parth Samthaan confirmed that he will soon exit CID 2. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who showered him with love for his role, even if it was for a brief period of time. "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months," he said.
He also mentioned that he is unable to continue as ACP Ayushamann as he has other work commitments in hand. Parth further shared that they could not share the news beforehand as it could have spoiled the excitement.
