CID 2: Parth Samthaan 'ready to strike' as he hints at massive action packed episode with team | Watch

CID 2 is one of the most loved shows among fans, and it is widely known for the iconic trio, ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) and Inspectors Daya and Abhijeet (Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava. Following ACP Pradyuman's sudden exit, Parth Samthaan joined the cast as ACP Ayusman, but now he confirmed that he is leaving the show as ACP Pradyuman is back again. Now, Parth has shared an interesting behind-the-scenes video where he can be seen getting ready for an action-packed sequence with his team members. 

Parth Samthaan drops BTS video from CID 2 sets

Parth Samthaan took to his Instagram account and shared a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of CID 2. In the clip, we can see Parth as ACP Ayushman wearing a CID-branded tactical gear and wielding a gun as he gears up for an intense action scene along with his team members. The clip also gave a glimpse of Inspector Abhijeet.

He wrote in the caption, "Ready to Strike. #acp #ayushman #abhijeet #cid #mission #shoot #trending" and tagged Sony TV and Netflix India in the post. He also added the Vande Mataram track from the film Fighter in the background.

Parth Samthaan confirms leaving CID 2

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Parth confirmed that he will quit CID 2 as ACP Ayushman. The actor said, "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."

Parth also revealed that he has other work commitments lined up, hence he won’t be continuing for long. "But yes, I’m grateful for all the love and support the audience has shown during my brief stint," he said.
