Cirkus OTT release date: When and where to watch Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty’s film online

Rohit Shetty has never been one to play it safe when it comes to his directorial efforts, going all out in trying to make them a fun-filled visual spectacle for audiences. The director's latest came in the form of Cirkus, a film that promised Ranveer Singh at his quirky best in a fun dual role. For viewers who were unable to catch the action unfold on the big screen when the film was released on December 23, 2022, fret not. Cirkus will soon arrive on a popular OTT platform this month.

What is Cirkus about?

A doctor working on the nature vs nurture theory decides to separate two sets of twins he finds at the doorstep of an orphanage, with each set being placed with different families in different cities. Decades later, one set of twins is running a circus. When the other set decides to visit the very city the former ran their circus in, the result is chaos and a comedy of errors.

Who are the cast and crew behind Cirkus?

Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma star as a set of twins who are separated at birth and placed with different families. The film features Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading ladies in Cirkus. Ashwini Kalsekar, Murali Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Mukesh Tiwari, Johnny Lever, Anil Charanjeett, Sanjay Mishra, Siddharth Jadhav, Vrajesh Hirjee, Brijendra Kala, and Vinay Patkar also have prominent roles in the film. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance in the song Current Laga Re.

During the trailer launch event for the film, Ranveer spoke of how Rohit had made the former’s ‘dream’ come true, giving the actor a chance to share the screen with veteran actors like Johny Lever and Sanjay Mishra.

The Rohit Shetty directorial was bankrolled under the banners of T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment, and Rohit Shetty Picturez.

Cirkus will be available for streaming on Netflix from February 17, 2023, onwards.
