The makers of Ranveer Singh's upcoming film Cirkus already had fans waiting in anticipation for the song Current Laga Re, ever since they dropped the film's trailer with a glimpse of Deepika Padukone. On Wednesday, they piqued the interest further by sharing the song's teaser. Finally, they've put an end to all the waiting of the fans and have unveiled the much awaited song from the film.
As the teaser already had us guessing, Current Laga Re song has everything working for it right from the word go. Deepika Padukone's vibrant pink and green attire and her killer moves will surely take you back to Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express.
Ranveer Singh seems to have taken a leaf out of his Simmba character (not that we're complaining) and brings his signature swag to the table along with his mad energy to this peppy and upbeat number. Watching Ranveer and Deepika on screen together after their brief appearance as a couple in '83 is an experience you'd not want to miss.
There are moments in the song when you'd just not want to take your eyes off Ranveer and Deepika. Their goofy expressions and infectious energy totally match the quirky lyrics and beats of the song. The choreography is quite fun too with some uber cool hook steps that are likely to flood your Instagram Reels feed in the near future.

Loosely based on The Comedy of Errors, Cirkus also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra and Brijendra Kala along with Ranveer Singh. The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 23, 2022.
