Cirkus song Current Laga Re teaser: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh bring back their 'electrifying' chemistry in upcoming track

The one thing that stayed with the trailer for Cirkus was the little glimpse of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shaking their legs together on screen after a very long time. Titled "Current Laga Re," it's the first song from the Rohit Shetty directorial due out tomorrow. Ahead of that, the makers dropped the teaser for the track and called it the "electrifying" track from the film.

Deepika and Ranveer can be seen dancing their hearts out and showing how hot and natural their chemistry is with each other in the teaser. The video has DP looking as stunning as ever in a pink outfit with floral prints. Ranveer is donning an all-black look.

Nakash Aziz, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jonita Gandhi, and Lijo George have sung the song. George has composed the track with DJ Chetas, while the lyrics are penned by Kumaar.

Rohit Shetty took to his Instagram page and shared a photo of himself posing with Deepika. He wrote, "We will see you tomorrow at 12:30!!! @deepikapadukone #cirkusthischristmas."

Cirkus marks the reunion of Rohit and Deepika after almost a decade. The director worked with the actor in the 2013 movie Chennai Express, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan in the main role.

Talking about Cirkus, the film has an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Johny Lever, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Siddharth Jadhav, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Radhika Bangia, Brijendra Kala, Saurabh Gokhale, Ashish Warang, Umakant Patil and Uday Tikekar.

The trailer, which came out on Friday, revealed that the film is set in the 1960s and is an adaptation of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors. Cirkus is set to end 2022 with a bang as it hits the big screens on December 23, 2022.
