Citadel first look out: Priyanka Chopra Jonas-Richard Madden speak business but are a pleasure to watch!

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has shared the first look from her upcoming show, Citadel. The actress is seen in the series with Richard Madden. Amazon Prime Video has released the first pictures and it’s a mix of business with pleasure.

The first photo itself picks your attention. Priyanka is hotness personified but is all about business.

Richard too is in on the action but when put in a romantic scene, he fits right in, just like Priyanka. This is sure to leave you excited for what the show has to offer.

Priyanka plays the role of Nadia Sinh in the show. She is a spy with an ice-cold demeanour. Nadia is a very physically demanding role and Priyanka performs her own stunts on the show.

“It kind of blew my mind. This is something that’s never been attempted on television before, and just the social experiment and the audacity of it was just so exciting to me,” the actress says about picking the project.

Richard plays the role of Mason Kane on the show. He has a deep and complicated history with Nadia. The actor plays two characters, before and after turning a spy.

The story jumps eight years forward. “We’re not just creating a story, we’re creating this world that’s spanning countries and continents,” Richard tells Vanity Fair. “That can be daunting, but also super exciting,” the actor adds.

Citadel is a six-episode series helmed by Joe and Anthony Russo. It was shot in places like Atlanta, London, Morocco, and Valencia. The first two episodes from the show will be unveiled on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.

The Indian version of Citadel has already been announced. Varun Dhawan and Samantha will star in the lead roles in the series.
