Director duo Raj and DK are now looking at the most vital leg of the Indian adaptation of Citadel, even though the team is already two schedules behind since taking the series on floors in January. In July, Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Sikandar Kher will return to film the action sequences for their third and final schedule. However, thorough preparation is essential before engaging in direct conflict with criminals. To get them ready for action, Varun and Sikandar are undergoing a rigorous three-week training session with stunt coordinators from Hong Kong and Los Angeles.

The camp is designed to give the performers the tools they'll need to bring the action sequences to life on screen, with an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat, weapon training, and general fitness. The training session began last week in Andheri.

A team of four stunt coordinators is teaching Varun and Sikandar complex action set pieces, such as bike stunts, according to a source who spoke to Mid Day. They will be taught how to properly handle and fire a variety of firearms, as well as receive instruction on ammunition. The performers in the spy thriller's battle scenes will need extensive preparation, and Raj-DK believed they should have it before production began. There are also action analysts and first aid specialists on hand. They keep a careful eye on the sessions, evaluate risks, and take preventative measures so that the upcoming shot goes off without a hitch.

The Indian team has been in contact with action director James Young, who worked on the American version of Citadel starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, to guarantee visual consistency. Producers and Amazon Prime Video have supposedly implemented a no-phones restriction at the training facility.

According to the same source, this has been implemented to ensure that all participants remain fully committed to their training. Almost every day, they will spend eight hours in boot camp.

However, Samantha is unable to attend because she is busy promoting Kushi. Her training would be completed at a later time and with new requirements.
