K-pop group Blackpink created history on Saturday night by headlining Coachella 2023 for the first time as a Korean act. All four members - Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa - also performed their individual solo songs. The performance actually started 30 minutes later than planned, but fans didn’t seem to mind the wait.

While Jisoo sang her recently released solo debut 'Flower', Jennie played 'You & Me' along with her follow-up song to "Solo." The following performers were Rosé and Lisa, the former of whom sang 'Gone' and 'On The Ground' from her solo album R, and the latter of whom sang 'Money'.

Blackpink as a whole also sang songs from their discography, such as 'Pink Venom' and 'Whistle'.

However, being the headliners of one of the most popular festivals in the world, the four girls also faced criticism from locals with some accusing them of lip-syncing.

However, their fans called Blinks have come in support of the girls and have said that Blackpink has put out one of their best performances to date.

Towards the end of their performance, Rosé told the crowd, "The reason all four of us are here is because of you guys". On the festival grounds, Blinks in attendance were also given access to exclusive Coachella-specific items, which included limited-edition tees and fanny packs.
