Cobra star Mirnalini Ravi on her experience working on the film

Mirnalini Ravi, who shot to fame with her videos on the social media app, TikTok, has played a crucial role in Ajay Gnanamuthu's upcoming film, Cobra. The film has Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty playing the lead and Chiyaan playing a mathematician. The team is currently on a promotional tour across south India, which covers Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The Cobra team has been regularly sharing updates about the same. 

During their visit to Coimbatore on Wednesday, Mirnalini stated that she had a great experience working on the film. "I am very happy to be part of the film and it was a good experience working on Cobra."

When quizzed the TikTok sensation, if she wanted to break free from the image after working in Cobra, and she stated, "After Tum Tum song, everyone started recognising me. As my journey goes on, I want to do my best in whatever I have in hand. But at the same, I would definitely want to break that image."

The actress, who made her debut with Thiagarajan Kumararaja's 2019 film, the critically acclaimed Super Deluxe, stated that she wants to have good roles in her kitty. "If I get performance-oriented and good roles, I will be very glad to perform in the film. But I never started off with a sketch or a plan to do things a particular way. I just go with the flow and whatever I feel is convenient, I do that."

Cobra is an action thriller that has an ensemble cast, which includes Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, Miya George, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Kaniha and KS Ravikumar. The film has music by AR Rahman. While the cinematography is by Harish Kannan, the editing is handled by Bhuvan Srinivasan. The film's release was delayed multiple times and is finally gearing up to hit screens on August 31. Cobra is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and distributed by Red Giant Movies.
