Cocktail starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty, is one of the most-loved films among fans. The 2012 film is reportedly getting a much-awaited sequel, and this time it will reportedly feature Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. Cocktail 2 important update
As per Pinkvilla, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in Cocktail 2. It also reported that it will go on the floors in August 2025 and will be shot in India and picturesque locations in Europe. The makers are planning to wrap it up around January 2026 and are aiming for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026.
Apart from the three lead actors, the movie will feature a large cast of supporting actors, for whom casting is underway.

The portal also reported that, like its previous part, Cocktail 2 will also be directed by Homi Adajania. Dinesh Vijan worked with Imtiaz Ali in Cocktail (2012), but now he will work with Luv Ranjan for the sequel.

Speaking about Cocktail, the 2012 film is a love triangle story revolving around Gautam (Saif Ali Khan), who is in love with Veronica (Deepika Padukone). However, he is also being pressured by his mother to marry Meera (Diana Penty). The film explores themes of love, commitment, and cultural expectations, with Veronica's unconventional nature and Gautam's internal conflicts creating a compelling narrative.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid is working in Vishal Bharadwaj's movie tentatively titled Arjun Ustara/Evil. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon will join the sets after completing Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein. She will star opposite Dhanush.
