Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who is quite excited about her upcoming film titled Code Name: Tiranga, recently opened up on her experiences while shooting for the same. The actress was interacting with media persons on the sidelines of the trailer preview of her film which gave her the perfect opportunity to flaunt her action skills on screen.
During her interaction, she shared one of her top secrets that the cast and crew learned while they were shooting the film in Turkey. Since Turkey is known for its mouth-watering food as much as it’s known for its picturesque landscapes, Parineeti shared an anecdote revolving around its famous Baklava.
The actress said, "There is this very special Turkish delicacy called Baklava that everyone says is a must try whenever you are in Turkey. I must say that the people over there were so sweet to us, that every day they would send a box of customised Baklava, with my name on it.”
“They are really warm-hearted wonderful people! What they did not know is, (that) I hate, absolutely hate pista! And Baklava is stuffed with pista and other dry fruits. I hate pista so much so that if any day, you are giving me pista, our friendship would turn into dushmani, instantly," she shared with a chuckle.
"So, every day, I would receive those boxes of Baklava and everyone in our team was fully enjoying them! I mean, kya hai? (laughs). I hate pista, I hope in coming Diwali no one gifts me that," added the actress.
Set in Turkey, the story of Code Name: Tiranga revolves around a RAW agent, played by Parineeti, who is on a mission to save her country that involves a lot of twists and turns. Parineeti was present during the trailer preview of the film on Tuesday in Mumbai alongside her co-actors Harrdy Sandhu, Sharad Kelkar, Rajit Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Shishir Sharma.
Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, Code Name: Tiranga releases in theatre on October 14.
