Coke Studio Bharat: Sanjith Hegde & Charan Raj rendition to drop on THIS date

The combination of music composer Charan Raj and singer Sanjith Hegde has produced a number of memorable songs and their fans ardently look forward to their collaboration. Be it Gunu Gunguva from Dalapathi or the haunting melody of Nigooda Nigooda from Kavaludaari, or even the spirited Maadeva from Popcorn Monkey Tiger, each song that the duo has delivered is a gem, a bona fide chartbuster in its own right. 

And now, having weaved magic together on a number of film songs, Charan Raj and Sanjith Hegde are back together to add a new dimension to their partnership. The duo will soon appear on the highly popular music series Coke Studio series with a splendid Kannada rendition titled Geejaga Hakki. 

The song, which features Sanjith's vocals, Charan Raj's composition and an array of supremely talented musical artists, is set to debut on June 8 on Coke Studio India's YouTube channel and all other audio streaming platforms. Here's a small taste of it before the full track drops:

Over the years, Coke Studio has served as an incredible platform that has brought together the most distinct and talented musicians from across the world. What originated in Brazil in 2006, the platform has transcended cultural and linguistic boundaries and has since then been relaunched in several other regions, including Pakistan, the Middle East, the Philippines and India (in 2011). In 2023, Coke Studio returned after an 8-year hiatus as Coke Studio Bharat.

The latest edition of Coke Studio Bharat will include 50 different artists from across multiple disciplines, styles and genres of music. With as many as 10 vibrant collaborations or songs on offer (curated by Ankur Tewari), listeners can enjoy the music of celebrated artists like Achint, Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, Diljit Dosanjh, Noor Mohammad, OAFF & Savera, Karnataka's own Sanjith Hegde, among others.
