Cold Case: Who’s the killer? Prithviraj Sukumaran tries to uncover the truth in latest promo

Amazon Prime has just released the latest promo video for Prithviraj Sukumaran and Aditi Balan starrer Cold Case. The investigative drama film has a touch of supernatural elements in it. The new promo raises the mystery surrounding the gruesome murders and gives us glimpses of Prithviraj’s character, ACP Sathyajith, investigating the cases.

In the new promo video, we can see ACP Sathyajith asking multiple questions regarding the murder, such as who is the victim, when, how and what was the intention, while also describing the killer as very crooked, creative and brilliant.

Cold Case revolves around the story of some brutal murders that seem to have paranormal influences as well. While there is clearly something more to these murders than what meets the eye, ACP Sathyajith tries to solve the cases using logic and rationale. Aditi Balan plays the character of Medha Padmaja, who is an investigative journalist and often crosses paths with Prithviraj’s character in search of the root of all this mystery.

Prithviraj Sukumaran took to Instagram to release the new promo video, sharing the video he wrote, “There's a lot more to the case than just evidence and facts (sic).”

Cold Case, written by Sreenath V Nath, is bankrolled by Anto Joseph Films and Plan J Studios. Apart from Prithviraj and Aditi Balan, the movie also stars Lakshmi Priya, Athmiya, Alencier Lopez and Anil Nedumangad. Cold Case was initially scheduled to release in theatres but had to be postponed due to the pandemic. The movie will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 30.
