Comedian Dhanraj turns director, ropes in a popular actor for his debut film; details inside

2023 was quite special for Tollywood comedian Venu Yeldandi as he turned director with the film Balagam and scored a massive hit. The film won over 100 international awards and made him a name to reckon with. Well, yet another popular Telugu comedian, Dhanraj has followed suit and turned director now for a social drama.

The bilingual drama was launched today and Dhanraj will direct none other than award-winning actor Samuthirkani in his directorial debut. Prudhvi Polavarapu will produce this film on his Slate Pencil Stories and the film is presented by Prabhakar Aripaka.

The movie started off with a puja ceremony today in the presence of Balagam director Venu Yeldandi. The special aspect of this film is that Dhanraj will also act in this film. The news is that he will be seen as Samuthirakani's son in this bilingual. 

Moksha, Harish Uttaman, Prudhvi, Ajay Ghosh, Pramodini, Lavanya Reddy, Chitram Sreenu, and Rocket Raghava are playing other key roles. The regular shooting of this movie will start on November 9, 2023. The director of the Vimanam film, Shiv Prasad Yanala, has penned the story for this movie. 

This untitled movie is going to be laced with the emotional angle of a father and son and will have a unique concept. Shashi Chitra's music director, Arun Chiluveru, is composing the music for the film, while Marthand K. Venkatesh is the editor. Durga Prasad is the cameraman for this movie.
