On Sunday, multiple reports claimed that Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will arrive at the theatres on April 11, not April 10. This news is now confirmed. This tough decision was taken because the makers wanted to release the film on Eid-Al-Fitr, an auspicious festival for the Muslim community globally. The dates of the festival are usually dependent on moon placements. Two days ago, it was cleared by reliable sources that the festival would be celebrated on April 11, not April 10. Following this festival’s date change, the makers of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan took this monumental step.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to be released on April 11

A press statement by Pooja Entertainment a while ago stated that the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial would be released on the coming Thursday. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff confirmed the development on their social media handles as well.

“Bade aur Chote aur poori Bade Miyan Chote Miyan ki team ki taraf se aap sab ko advance mein Eid Mubarak. Dekhiye #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan on Eid with your entire family, now releasing on 11th April, only in cinemas,” wrote Akshay Kumar on microblogging site X. He, for those who don’t know, boasts a fan-following of over 46.6 million Twitter users.

With this written message, Akshay and Tiger attached a video as well. In the video, they can be heard saying that they are present in Abu Dhabi (the Capital of the United Arab Emirates) to celebrate Eid with their fans and well-wishers. They pressed that during the film’s promotions, they always mentioned that the film’s release would coincide with the festival. And thus, the release date of the film has been moved forward by a day.

Besides Akshay and Tiger, the film would also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar in pivotal roles. Special previews of the movie will take place on April 10 beginning at 6 pm onwards.

The film will clash with Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan at the box office.
