After making Jawan with SRK and Baby John with Varun Dhawan, Atlee CONFIRMS doing a Hollywood film! Deets here

Till the release of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’, the name of Atlee was synonymous with superhit films down south. But, the unprecedented box office success of Jawan changed the entire equation. The humongous success (the film touched the magical figure of Rs 1,160 crore worldwide) of Jawan has catapulted filmmaker Atlee into the elusive league of extraordinary filmmakers. Looking back, while he was doing interview sessions with the media, there have been a few times when he had expressed his utmost desire to direct a Hollywood film. The latest update is that, Atlee is indeed all set to direct a Hollywood film!

Atlee Kumar confirms doing a Hollywood film!

The same was confirmed by Atlee himself at the recently conducted interview with ABP News. The Jawan director said that the Hollywood film was definitely happening. He added that, while it has taken him eight years to reach Bollywood, maybe in the next three years, one would see something there with a great announcement. He also added that he was ‘working on it’ (Hollywood film).

Atlee promises to deliver maximum entertainment to the audiences

He said that he has been genuine to his promise of delivering maximum entertainment to the audiences who invest time and money into watching his movies. He also added that he had kept his responsibility the same and that, in the future, whenever he made a Hollywood film, he would do the same,” Besides this, Atlee Kumar did not divulge any other details about the Hollywood project.

Besides the Hollywood project, Atlee Kumar is super busy with his next Bollywood outing in the form of ‘Baby John’. For the unversed, it’s the same film which stars Varun Dhawan and was being called as ‘VD 18’ earlier. Besides Varun Dhawan, the film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh (who makes her Bollywood debut).

When asked about the film, Varun Dhawan had said in an interview with Pinkvilla that, besides being a mass-action entertainer, there will be a lot of entertainment in the film, for which he would be giving it his all!
