Confirmed: Vicky Kaushal-Sara Ali Khan starrer gets a release date after Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan postpones

The upcoming romantic comedy starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan now has a confirmed release date. On June 2, 2023, the film will premiere in theatres. On May 16, during Vicky's birthday, the producers will make the official announcement about the title of the film.

The future slate of films and online series from Jio Studios has been unveiled. The studio also gave fans a sneak peek at upcoming flicks like Vicky and Sara, directed by Laxman Utekar. The film, titled Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was promoted in the preview. Although it seems like that's not the confirmed title of the film.

Some photos of Sara on the film's set, with her lovely blue and red saree, mangalsutra, and bangles, have recently made their way onto social media. On the other hand, Vicky was spotted riding a motorcycle around in his everyday garb.

After wrapping up filming, Sara wrote a letter of appreciation to her crew. She wrote that she still can't believe the shoot ended so quickly! The actor expressed gratitude to Utekar for entrusting her with Somya. His help, patience, and understanding have been invaluable to her. Sara finally got around to saying "thank you" for being so patient and encouraging all these times.

The actor also detailed her time spent working alongside Vicky, saying that it's been a pleasure working with him every day. She thanked him for making this journey unforgettable, from late nights singing Punjabi music around campfires to early morning drives fueled by copious amounts of chai. She went on to say that Vicky is one of the most humble, talented, and gifted actors she has met, and she is so privileged that she got to share screen space with him and learn so much from him.
