Cooku With Comali famed actor Ashwin to star in Prabhu Solomon's directorial

Ashwin, who rose to fame with a number of musical albums and his appearance in the comedy reality show Cooku With Comali, has reportedly joined hands with filmmaker Prabhu Solomon for his upcoming movie. An official announcement of the movie’s casting is yet to be made.

According to an ETimes report, Prabhu Solomon is currently in talks with Ashwin for his next movie. The actor has also reportedly given his nod to the movie since he believes that it is an amazing opportunity which he should not miss.

Prabhu and Ashwin are expected to start filming for this yet-untitled film soon. It is still in the pre-production stage. Prabhu was earlier known to cast fresh faces for his movies like Mynaa and Kaadan.

Talking about the actor, we will be seeing Ashwin in the upcoming romantic drama, Enna Solla Pogirai which marks his debut in the Tamil cinema. Helmed by director Hariharan, the movie stars Teju Aswini and Avantika as the two female leads.

He will also be portraying a pivotal role in the upcoming Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer, Oh Manapenne. Directed by Kaarthikk Sundar, the upcoming Tamil remake of Pelli Choopulu is expected to release soon.

If the reports are true, then Ashwin and Prabhu will be collaborating for the first time. Considering they both have an audience of their own, it will be interesting to see how they manage to attract people through the film.
