Corona Javan: Lukman, Sreenath Bhasi-starrer’s first poster promises a rural comedy entertainer about alcoholics

The first look poster of Saudi Vellakka and Thallumaala actor Lukman Avaran and Sreenath Bhasi promises a rural entertainer filled with laughs and vibrant characters. The team released the first look poster of the movie, which is helmed by debutant CC, through their social media pages on Tuesday.

Touted to be a full-length comedy entertainer, the movie’s poster had Lukman sitting atop an alcohol bottle while Sreenath scours through waste bottles for a drop of liquor. We also get to see the characters of Dharmajan Bolghatty, Vijilesh, Sarath Sabha, Irshad and Johny Antony in the poster, which reveals the film is set against the backdrop of a village named Aanathadam.

Sruthy Jayan, Bitto, Sunil Sukhada, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Aneesh Gopal and Seema G Nair are also part of the cast of Corona Javan. The movie is written by Sujai Mohanraj and has cinematographer Janeesh Jayanandan, editor Ajeesh Anand and composer Rijo Joseph as part of its crew. Produced by James and Jerome, the movie reportedly focuses on the antics of the two lead characters, who struggle to get alcohol.

Meanwhile, Sreenath Bhasi is gearing up for the release of Lovefully Yours Veda, which also has Rajisha Vijayan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Anikha Surendran and Venkitesh VP. The Praghesh Sukumaran-directorial, which is reportedly set in the 90s, revolves around campus romance and politics. Lovefully Yours Veda is also expected to hit theatres on February.

Lukman’s recent movie Saudi Vellakka recently released on OTT to generally positive reviews. Its director Tharun Moorthy, in an earlier interview, told us, “I wanted an actor who could understand the importance of the character in this film and Lukman got that clearly. I am fortunate that I have an actor like him, who understands what’s required for a movie, in my friends circle.” Saudi Vellakka is currently streaming on Sony LIV.
