Court: State vs A Nobody, the recently released Telugu film backed by Nani debuted in theatres on Friday. The film, which is stars Priyadarshi in the lead role, has collected Rs 4 crore on day one at the box office in India, as per reports. It is expected to witness more takers during the weekend.

Like the title suggests, Court: State Vs A Nobody is a courtroom drama which revolves around a POCSO case. The film is backed by actor Nani, with Ram Jagadeesh making his directorial debut. It revolves around a lawyer who is determined to defend a 19-year-old in a high-stakes case, by challenging the system that alleges him guilty. Led by Priyadarshi Pulikonda, the film's cast also comprises Harsh Roshan, Sridevi, Sivaji Sontineni, Saikumar, and others.

On the first day of its release on Friday, the film has managed to collect Rs 4 crore at the domestic box office in India. Thanks to its early reviews, which were glowing, the Nani-backed film has gotten a strong head start, with the weekend to see more audience coming in for the film.

Meanwhile, we have earlier reported that Netflix has bagged the streaming rights of Court-State vs A Nobody for a price of Rs 9 crore. The film is expected to premiere after finishing its theatrical run, and mostly sometime in April.
