Court - State vs. A Nobody, presented by actor Nani's home banner, and directed by Ram Jagadeesh, released in theatres on March 14, 2025 is ready for its OTT debut.

The gripping Telugu original courtroom drama Court – State vs A Nobody, directed by Ram Jagadeesh and featuring Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Harsh Roshan, Sridevi and Sivaji in lead roles, released in theatres in mid-March. The film, produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and presented by actor Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema, was a box office success during its theatrical run.
The streaming rights of the film had been picked up by Netflix, and, according to the latest buzz, the streamer has an OTT debut date fixed for the film. While initial reports suggested the second weekend of April, a tentative date that’s now being heard is April 11. Confirmation of the same is expected shortly, but is the most likely date, considering that the platform has been getting films on board under the 30-day clause.

Written by director Ram, Court – State vs A Nobody, follows the trial in a POCSO case of a 19-year-old boy, whose relationship with a 17-year old girl from an affluent family, did not sit well with her folks, who get him arrested. A young lawyer takes up the case and fights for justice for the boy. That’s the basic premise of the film. Priyadarshi played the lawyer, while Harsh was the youngster accused in a POCSO case. While the film has been billed as a Priyadarshi vehicle, veteran actor Sivaji, as the antagonist, literally stole the show.
The film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 9 crore and recovered much more, with the box office estimated at a tad under Rs 50 crore. Court – State vs A Nobody was one of 9 films that Netflix had announced as its Telugu film presentations of 2025. While Nagachaitanya’s Thandel has already made it to the streamer, also headed to the platform after the theatrical run are films like Hit 3, starring Nani and Srinidhi Shetty, Pawan Kalyan’s OG, Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara and Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, among others.
