By now, Bollywood star Vidyut Jammwal has become totally synonymous with breath-defying actions and stunts. His latest release Crakk: Jeetega… Toh Jiyegaa is no different. It has got some mixed reactions from the audiences. The film, which was released on February 23, managed to see a collection of Rs. 4 crores (India net) on the first day of its release.
As per the Sacnilk website, the Vidyut Jammwal is showing steady growth at the box office by pocketing Rs. 4 crores (India net). Prior to its release, the film had been billed as India’s first ‘extreme sports action film’. After the film’s release, one could understand why the film was being touted so.
Speaking of action, one of the major aspects to the film’s collections can be attributed to the film’s breath-taking action and also to the heavy-duty publicity that the film’s makers had executed in order to make the film a success. Besides the aforementioned factors, there is also one more factor that seemed to have worked for the film- the Rs. 99 per ticket offer on the occasion of Cinema Lovers Day. This only means that the real test of the film lies in the days ahead.
Besides acting in the film, Vidyut Jammwal had even produced the film along with Abbas Sayyed. That explains why he had many factors riding on the film. Speaking about Vidyut Jammwal, the opening day collections of his latest release Crakk has surpassed the opening day collections of his last film viz., IB 71, which had managed to pocket Rs 1.5 crore on its first day. Besides that, the first day collections of Crakk have even surpassed the first day collections of Vidyut’s much talked about film Commando, which had made Rs 3.7 crore on day one.
Besides Vidyut Jammwal, Crakk also stars the hunky Arjun Rampal, Amy Jackson and Nora Fatehi in the leading cast. After its theatrical run, the film will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar, although the official announcement is being awaited.
