With his film Crakk up for release soon, Vidyut Jammwal takes to social media and reveals the factors that inspire him to perform breathtaking stunts in his films!
There is a popular saying in Bollywood which states that, “Just the way fish takes to water, Vidyut Jammwal takes to martial arts’. If at all there is a Vidyut Jammwal film, it’s an unwritten guarantee that it will be loaded with some breath-taking actions which might have been never seen before on the silver screen. One such film is Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming film Crackk, about which the actor wrote a long post today on social media.
Throwing light on his training in martial arts, Vidyut Jammwal wrote, “I am a trained kalaripayattu martial artist and by profession- an action stuntman. I am blessed and fortunate to live my dream of pushing the boundaries of my skills and entertaining all action aficionados with the stunts I perform”.
He continued stating that, despite the abovementioned, his inspiration comes from watching videos intently of people hanging on a square inch in a train to work, a family of 4 balancing on a two-wheeler on crowded roads, and people of all age groups running to catch a bus. He also added that he gets inspired by such (real life people) who do such ‘stunts’ in real life and that too without any training or safety harnesses.
He made it a point to mention that these (aforementioned ‘stunts’) are self-taught and that each one who performs them is a daredevil, who performs it almost every day without giving it much thought. He then declares that, ‘This is the true definition of Crackk’. I dedicate my song/ film to everyone who is driven by passion, motivation, and determination to face this every single day.#YOUinspireME
He wrapped up his long post by writing, “Crakk - The Run! The first game that will make you experience real-life stunts.”TO BE TRIED AT HOME” @crakktheru”. Besides Vidyut Jammwal, Crakk also stars Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson in leading roles. The film, which has been directed by Aditya Datt and has been produced by Vidyut Jammwal under Action Hero Films, will see its theatrical release on February 23.
