Aadi Saikumar is gearing up for his fourth theatrical release of the year after Atithi Devobhava, Black and Tees Maar Khan. He’ll next be seen in the comedy entertainer Crazy Fellow, written and directed by Phani Krishna Sariki. The film is bankrolled by noted producer KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts. Digangana Suryavanshi, Mirnaa Menon play the female leads in the comic caper.

The teaser of Crazy Fellow was launched earlier today. The glimpse takes us through the trials and the tribulations of a flirtatious youngster, who turns out to be a nuisance to most of the people whom he meets. His family labels him a troublemaker, the girls can’t tolerate him and his friends, unfortunately, are left with no choice. He’s a happy-go-lucky who lives life on his own terms.

Several people, throughout the teaser, keep taking a dig at Aadi Saikumar’s character and he responds to them with an element of wit and sarcasm. He also gets time to flex his muscles and prove his machismo. The conversations between Aadi and Narra Srinu make for a good watch. On the whole, Crazy Fellow is an out-and-out slapstick comedy without an iota of pretension.

The makers believe Aadi’s characterisation will be the major highlight of Crazy Fellow. While Aadi starred in a family drama, thriller and a gangster saga, he’s trying his hand with humour this time. The team has already wrapped up shoot and the post-production formalities are underway. While the comedy was to have a September release earlier, it has been postponed to October 14 now.

Satish Mutyala is the cinematographer of the film while RR Dhruvan comes up with the background score and the songs. The film has been made on a lavish scale. The other crew part of the comic-caper include Giduturi Satya, Kolikapogu Ramesh and Rama Krishna, as the editor, art director and stunt choreographer respectively. Jithu, Harish have choreographed the dance sequences.
