Critics' Choice Awards 2024 – From biopics to blockbusters, 10 movies that are vying for Best Picture category

The excitement of awards season continues as prestigious ceremonies announce their nominations, following the dazzling 81st Golden Globe Awards winners. This year's Golden Globes saw movies like Barbie, Oppenheimer, Poor Things, and Killers of the Flower Moon sweep categories, winning trophies for Best Actor/Actress, Best Picture, Best Director, and beyond.

We have already unveiled the nominees for the 30th SAG Awards, 49th People's Choice Awards, and 35th Producer Guild Awards, and now the spotlight shines on the 29th Critics Choice Awards.

Best Picture nominations

Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, The Color Purple, The Holdovers, American Fiction, Poor Things, and Saltburn have achieved the Best Picture nominations.

Best Actor nominations

Bradley Cooper, Cillian Murphy, Colman Domingo, Jeffrey Wright, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Paul Giamatti have achieved the Best Actor nominations. Pedro Pascal, Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong, Timothy Olyphant, Tom Hiddleston, and Ramon Rodriguez have achieved Best Actor in Drama Series nominations.

Best Actress nominations

Carey Mulligan, Emma Stone, Greta Lee, Lily Gladstone, Margot Robbie, and Sandra Huller achieved the Best Actress nominations. On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr., Charles Melton, Mark Ruffalo, Robert De Niro, Ryan Gosling, and Sterling K. Brown achieved the Best Actor in Supporting Role nominations.

About Critics' Choice Awards

Every year, a group of movie reviewers called the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association throws a big ceremony. At this event, they give out some prestigious accolades to the movies they think are the best of the year. They call these prizes the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

Dtae, time and where to watch

Following the final voting round, the Critics Choice Awards ceremony will begun on January 15, 2024 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Lionsgate Play will exclusively show live from 5:30 am for the Indian audiences.
